Summary: We are back bitches! Sorry it has been a minute since our last episode. But we are back with a bang in Part 1 of our deep dive into the Theranos scandal and the woman behind it, Elizabeth Holmes. How did a Stanford chemical engineering student who dropped out after less than 2 years of college, with no medical or business background, convince some of the most wealth and powerful people (old rich men) to invest in her medical device and laboratory company? How did she convince them that at 19 with little to no training had developed groundbreaking new technology that would revolutionize medicine and the world forever? How did she not only convince them to give her almost 1 billion dollars, but also convince them to put their name and reputation on the line to defend her and destroy for her?
