#13: J.J. McCullough: Countries, Cultures, and Canada

Frank James Podcast show

Summary: J.J. McCullough is a journalist and YouTuber whose videos cover a wide variety of topics: from the world's worst flags, to the school lunches of children around the globe, to the Canadian Prime Minister election. J.J. explores the inner workings of the cultures of Canada, the US, and beyond through the everyday objects and symbols of these countries; as well as looking at their political structures, leaders, and languages. Not a stranger to controversy, he has been denounced by the Parliament of Quebec, which is a first for a guest of this podcast. We get a little more political than usual here for the FJ podcast, but ultimately come to the conclusion that understanding and empathy are the things that will ultimately bind together a nation.
