Summary: This week, EMPact Radio adds a second guest spot to our program. Join us for guests Ron Kessler and Fritz Ermarth. Ronald Kessler is the New York Times best-selling author of nineteen non-fiction books. Kessler began his career as a journalist in 1964 on the Worcester Telegram, followed by three years as an investigative reporter and editorial writer with the Boston Herald. In 1968, he joined the Wall Street Journal as a reporter in the New York bureau. He became an investigative reporter with the Washington Post in 1970 and continued on the paper until 1985.   Fritz W. Ermarth is the former Director of National Security Programs at the Nixon Center. He is also a part-time senior analyst for the Strategies Group at Science Applications International Corporation. Ermarth worked for the Central Intelligence Agency from 1973 until 1998, serving as Chairman of the National Intelligence Council, as National Intelligence Officer for the USSR and East Europe and Director of the Strategic Evaluation Center.   Widely considered to be a true hero of the Cold War, Ermarth has received both the Distinguished Intelligence Medal and the National Intelligence Distinguished Service Medal. Ermarth also served as Special Assistant to the President during the Ronald Reagan’s presidency, as well as Senior Director of Soviet and European Affairs.
