Some years back a company owned by Tommey Walker Jr coined the phrases 'Detroit vs Everybody' Since then Eminem, Royce da 59, Dej Loaf and Big Sean created a anthem that went viral and many other city's started to use the logo and saying. Recently we seen a video on Instagram by a artist by the name of Tone Tone from Detroit eastside respectfully question that saying based on the inner hate and competition that goes with the city that negatively impacts the growth of the local Detroit music scene. A day or so before tee grizzley went through his situation were he was shot at and his manager was unfortunately killed, I made this podcast called is it Detroit vs Detroit? We have been creating content on youtube under the banner Doc Hicks TV for over 7 years now and we have been asked the question many of times what's are thoughts on Detroit local talent and is there a reason why we selectively pick and choose the artist from Detroit we feature on our brand, Is there a beef?
