Summary: The story goes that at one point somebody asked Eric Clapton what it felt like to be the greatest guitar player in the world. His response was, “I don’t know. Ask Prince.” I have no idea if this story is true or not, but it’s powerful in that it demonstrates how much it means to be revered by others who are considered proficient in your field, or industry, or niche. The most requested interview that I’ve gotten from other photographers whom I’ve actually interviewed is Allison Tyler Jones. And of course the one I’ve heard from the most, has been my wife. Upon meeting Allison a couple years ago, my wife couldn’t stop talking about how amazing she was. And then when I made her acquaintance myself, I quickly understood why.
