Summary: Computer science is one of the fastest-growing sectors of the U.S. economy. As a result, many K-12 programs are starting to incorporate coding into their curriculum, much like how keyboarding classes were introduced to past generations. Something else, however, is growing alongside jobs – a gender gap.
