E78: I WAS FOUR WHEN THEY TOOK ME - Khmer Rouge Survivor Chanda Luker

HANDS AND DAYLIGHT show

Summary: By 6-years old, Chanda Luker saw more atrocities in the Khmer Rough concentration camps of Cambodia than most people see in their entire lives. Under Pol Pot's regime, over 2 million Cambodians were murdered. She survived. This is her story: of what really happened... of surviving, of escaping with her family, of life as refugees. This is her story of finding their way to this sanctuary we call America, and to western Maine. Chanda's story is a heavy one, but it's one that should be heard by everyone.
