Summary: The episode opens with Bart reading the notice Hedley Lamarr is circulating to recruit his army. Bart asks them to give him 24 hours to come up with a brilliant idea to save the town. They all say, "No!" Bart then says, "You'd do it for Randolph Scott." A hush travels through the townspeople. They whisper his name aloud.
