Summary: If you use a producer's beat without his or her permission, that producer may put a Content ID claim on your YouTube video, that you uploaded to your YouTube channel. Split sheets must be written up, specifying who owns what percentage of a song. On each song that you collaborate with other people on, a split sheet will need to be made. Once the song splits are agreed upon, you may go register your share, of that song, in your PRO Account (ASCAP, BMI, SESAC).
