Summary: I kept telling my 10 year old to grow up and stop crying.<br> <br> Today I attended a workshop on listening and realised that I wasn't allowing my son to naturally express himself.<br> <br> When we don't allow our children to express themselves naturally they will express themselves unnaturally in the forms of escapism, addiction, attention seeking etc.<br> <br> <br> It was a huge awakening for me.
