S1E16 Bring it On: Worldwide #Cheersmack “Diversity Alley”

The Stupid Sequels Podcast show

Summary: Welcome to the latest episode of the Stupid Sequels Podcast! Our guest is Greg Alesso and we are reviewing Bring It On: Worldwide Cheersmack! This movie about cheer, will make you want to sneer! We review the SIXTH (and probably final) movie in the Bring it On series. With inconsistent accents, a mystery location and a competition that doesn't matter (at all) this movie is a cheer-tastrophe!  We discuss the lack of acting and cheer chops, attempts at 'feminism', the simultaneous condemnation and praise of social media and the international politics of cheer. We find truly terrible movies and give them all the attention they don’t deserve.
Each episode we’ll discuss exactly what made such a horrible sequel from casting to budget to just plain bad writing. While we all love a great movie there’s something just a little more fun about watching a seriously stupid sequel. Now while they're are plenty of awful sequels out there we have a few guidelines about the kind of movies we’ll be reviewing. We’re talking about direct to video, made for tv, never appeared in a theatre sequels. The ones the studios gave up on before they even started. Our logo is designed by Nicole Wiseman @NicWise. Our sound engineer is Francis Gacad. Our theme song is “The World At Large” by Dan O'Connor at DanoSongs.
