Summary: Marquette graduate students Benjamin Rangel and Kyle Hagge created the Bridge the City podcast to focus on local Milwaukee communities. Disheartened by national media narratives, they sought to inform individuals about local elected officials like city council or the sheriff's office. Ben and Kyle first met 3 years ago when they moved to Milwaukee to serve as AmeriCorps members with College Possible, a nonprofit helping low-income students get to and through college. Currently, both Ben and Kyle are Trinity Fellows at Marquette University. The Trinity Fellowship is a graduate program that focuses on social and economic justice and allows students to earn their Masters degree while simultaneously working at a nonprofit organization.
