Summary: For many fans and collectors Mother, now known as Earthbound Zero, is an odd but much beloved video game. Part RPG, part urban legend – the story of the journey from its original Japanese release to its official Western release almost a quarter of a century later is something that has been the sources of much speculation over the years. Now, a group of fans are running a Kickstarter campaign to produce a new documentary called “Mother to Earth” which charts the very involved and convoluted journey of the original Mother video game.
