Ep. 401: Not Determinative

Don't Worry About The Government show

Summary:

In this installment, Chris reviews the Barr Memo and expresses skepticism towards Barr’s vague presentation of facts. He lays out a presentation of the facts in Russia’s election campaign influence operation, as we know them, based on Barr’s Memo and Mueller’s indictments. After, he outlines some of his concerns with Rosenstein and Barr opining on Obstruction, a matter which Mueller expressly said the facts found in his investigation “did not exonerate” Trump on, Chris discusses the apparently-limited scope of ‘collusion,’ as defined in the Barr Memo, and already-apparent inconsistencies between Mueller’s indictments & Barr’s characterization of the investigation. Then, Chris looks at some of the many remaining unanswered questions involving collusion, including Manafort’s ties to Oleg Deripaska and his sustaining communications with Konstantin Kilimnik throughout the campaign, the quite-odd Carter Page and his meeting with Sergey Kislyak, and Trump’s deep fondness for Wikileaks, particularly in October of 2016.

Episode 401

By the way, if you want to donate to the show…

Monthly Subscription Options

$5.00 : $5.00 USD – monthly $10.00 : $10.00 USD – monthly $15.00 : $15.00 USD – monthly $20.00 : $20.00 USD – monthly $25.00 : $25.00 USD – monthly

https://www.paypal.me/DWATG

https://www.patreon.com/DWATG
