Summary: One of my dear friends (Heather) told me a story about how an older man tried to abduct her daughter using social media. The older man tried to get her daughter to be his 17 year old girlfriend and groomed her to hang out with him using social media. In this episode I paraphrase the story based on my notes with Heather via phone call. Two things Heather did perfectly: 1) Got her kid a phone WITH a phone number (so she could track her daughter's calls and location). 2) Got her daughter an ATM card with a little bit of money each week to see where her daughter was spending money.
