Summary: We are still on our journey through stories from the African American Diaspora (specifically the Louisiana region #blackhistorymonth). This week, a badass lady named Annie Christmas. Annie takes no shit and is taking care of all the gender roles. Oftentimes referred to as the female counterpart to John Henry, this lady needs no counterpart. Seven foot tall keelboat captain who is abnormally strong. She wore pearls to show how many mens eyes she had gouged out. Annie...
