KQED's Forum show

Summary: Monday in Sacramento, Gavin Newsom will be sworn in as the 40th governor of California. He takes over a state flush with a $14.5 billion dollar rainy day fund and a budget surplus of at least $10 billion. But Newsom also inherits a state experiencing a housing crisis, rising income inequality and a growing vulnerability to wildfires.
