He has worked as a theater director and lives in New York. His first novel All That Is Solid Melts into Air is a gripping end-of-empire novel, charting the collapse of the Soviet Union through the focal point of the Chernobyl disaster. This event has been organised in association with Darragh's French publisher, Belfond.
