Summary: To date Brisbane has not fulfilled the expectations some had for it, largely because the city lacked the fundamental drivers that pushed Sydney and Melbourne. But that’s changing. The underlying economy, population trends, infrastructure spending and the affordability comparison all point to better things for Brisbane.
