Mi sembra di capire e esprimermi abbastanza bene nella vita quotidiana. Però devo migliorare lo scritto. Direttore: Ha già fatto dei corsi specifici? James: No. Prima di trasferirmi qui in Italia, avevo studiato italiano alla scuola superiore nella mia città Pittsburg. Ma ho frequentato solo corsi di italiano generale. All’università poi avevo frequentato un corso intensivo di italiano prima di andare a Roma. Ho abitato a Roma per 6 mesi, ma condividevo un appartamento con due ragazzi madrelingua inglese. Avevo anche cercato di cambiare casa dopo un mese, ma a Roma non è semplice. Direttore: Peccato! James: Per lavoro ora ho bisogno di migliorare il mio italiano scritto, anche per eventuali pubblicazioni. E poi vorrei frequentare un corso avanzato con un approfondimento del linguaggio musicale. E poi ho anche qualche problema con la grammatica. Alcune regole proprio non mi entrano in testa. Direttore: Non si preoccupi. Non deve pensare troppo alla grammatica , altrimenti si blocca. Se va in segreteria, la possono aiutare a scegliere il corso adatto alle sue esigenze. Comuque, prima di iniziare un corso, deve fare l’esame attitudinale. James: Ho capito.
