The Horse Show: S3E25 - World Equestrian Games Final - Simone Blum

WiSP Sports show

Summary: Chris Stafford wraps up the final day of competition from the FEI World Equestrian Games with the newly crowned show jumping World Champion Germany's Simone Blum. It was a thrilling competition to watch a woman on top of the podium again—the first time since 1986.  Her mare DSP Alice did not have one rail down this week and was foot perfect as they were last to go and Simone's nerves held up to take the title. She tells Chris how it played out for her and what's next for this super mare that will now be aimed at the 2020 Olympic Games. But first she will have a break before coming out to compete in some World Cup qualifiers. For show notes and related links for this episode click HERE.
