Dr. Pamela Dee Parkinson is a dedicated faculty member at American Public University System. She has a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and US History from Weber State University, a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from the University of Minnesota Duluth and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Utah, College of Law. She previously served as a municipal court judge in Utah and Montana; owned a café and flipped hamburgers in the Yellowstone ecosystem; taught as Professor of Women’s Studies; and now teaches online and develops courses. Her philosophy of education is student-centric, focusing on students’ individual needs and challenging them throughout their learning process.
