Summary: <p>On today's episode we discuss Christianity and diversity with Dr. Eric Bryant. Often we focus on our differences and find ourselves divided. We've settled for tolerance instead of true embrace. Eric's book, <a href="http://www.ericbryant.org/the-book/" target="_blank"><em>Not Like Me: Learning to Love, Serve, and Influence Our Divided World</em></a>, is celebrating it's 10th anniversary with a rerelease and update for the challenging times we are facing today.</p><p>Dr. Eric Michael Bryant serves with <a href="http://www.gatewaychurch.com/" target="_blank">Gateway Church</a> in Austin as Lead Pastor for Gateway South and as part of the teaching team along with Senior Pastor <a href="http://www.johnburkeonline.com/" target="_blank">John Burke</a>. Known for their mottos: “no perfect people allowed” and “come as you are, but don’t stay that way.”</p><p>From 1998-2010, Eric served as part of the leadership team with <a href="http://mosaic.org/erwinmcmanus/" target="_blank">Erwin McManus</a> at <a href="http://www.mosaic.org/" target="_blank">Mosaic in Los Angeles</a>, a church known for its creativity and diversity. The four years prior to that he helped plant a church in Seattle, WA.</p><p>Eric teaches a masters level <a href="http://www.ericbryant.org/2015/05/14/post-christian-ministry/" target="_blank">Post-Christian Ministry Certificate</a> and leads a cohort for a <a href="http://seminary.bethel.edu/academics/st-paul-programs/doctorate-ministry/cohort/missional-effectiveness" target="_blank">Doctorate of Ministry in Missional Effectiveness</a> through Bethel Seminary where he earned his Doctorate of Ministry in Entrepreneurial Leadership.
