Summary: INDIVISIBLE CHICAGO PODCAST SHOW NOTES AND ACTIONS FOR SEPTEMBER 3, 2018 Segment 1: This weekend, in addition to celebrating all that Labor has done for America, we also note that for many among us, it’s Back-to-School. On this week’s ICP, Tom talks education with John King. Currently, Dr. King is the President and CEO of The Education Trust. He also served as Obama’s second Secretary of Education. Segment 2: As Illinois District 4 State Rep, Delia Ramirez will be representing her native Humboldt Park as well as parts of Wicker Park and Logan Square. Last Thursday, Delia was a special guest at Indivisible Chicago’s Evening with JB where Tom interviewed her live on stage for the podcast. They talked about her resounding victory in the primaries and her effort now to help get JB Pritzker elected. (You will also learn more about her number one precinct captain!)
