Summary: The Handmaid's Tale on HULU leaves us once again with no idea where the show is going. Episode 12 "Postpartum" followed up the highly emotional, very different episode "Holly" in which June gives birth to her daughter. Writer Eric Tuchman is a veteran TV writer with a history of writing for strong female characters. He brings us an episode in which things unfold and reveal the depths of the flaws in Gilead's society and the toll that it takes on all involved. "Postpartum" sets in motion events, the long term effects of which are not yet known and sets up a finale that could go in any direction.
