Summary: As a fandom with a twenty-five year history, The X Files grew up alongside (and some would say, helped foster) the modern fan fiction phenomenon. In this episode, we give our suggestions for some fics we think should constitute a literary canon for the well-read Phile. Not only that, we do our best to defend the reading and writing of fan fiction from its cultured despisers!
