Summary: On this college football edition of the GSMC Footbal Podcast host Tom Dougherty goes over some of the top recruits for the class of 2019. All of the 11 five star recruits are down in Frisco, Texas at the Nike The Opening event where they will showcase their talents. Many have already chosen where they will play their college football however the #1 and #3 prospects have yet to decide on where they want to commit. Tom also talks about football culture and how many of the things that happen behind the scenes get lost and forgotten. He talks about how recruiting has a gotten alot of backlash and that these young kids should not be treated as prize racehorses and courted like the hot new heiress. He goes over many of the injury issues and how as fans we have become acustom to seeing many young athletes suffer severe injuries. It's all part of the football culture.
