Hospitals Substitute Vials of Epinephrine for EpiPen and there appears to be harmful consequences!

Summary: A cheaper alternative to the EpiPen, vials of epinephrine are attractive to hospital administrators since the savings,in dollars, is substantial. But it appears to me, as I review two separate accounts of mistaken route of injection, that saving dollars may be at the expense of not saving lives.
