Summary: In the first episode of 2011 and the twenty-sixth episode of the podcast Janey and Ashley discuss the beginning of the year and its connotations, the mother and daughter then pay tribute to Janey’s brother Mij who died on New Year’s Eve, emotional storytelling, tears, laughter and hilarity ensue. The pair of then do a mock musical tribute to the late Scottish singer Gerry Rafferty and his famous song Baker Street, they debate the situation of female comics here and across the Atlantic and why female comics don’t get the chance to be risqué in the UK.   Michael Buble, Jake Gyllenhall, The Kardashians and Sienna Miller all get battered with the gossip stick and the ceiling picture competition draws to a close with a worthy winner.
