The singles chart sees Norman Cook and Members of Beautiful South breakaway from The Housemartins. Bette Midler goes ‘flying’ into the Top 30. New entries from De La Soul, Pet Shop boys and Kirsty MacColl. At the top Prince, Soul II Soul, Beautiful South are reaching for the top spot. With Top 20 hits from Guns n Roses, Sonia, Queen, U2 and London Boys. It’s one for the memories.
