Summary: Deep Sessions I (120 bpm) The seven episodes of Deep Sessions should really be called Fifty Shades of Deep. It would have been a better title and a true depsiction of what those sessions are about. Yet I did not want to make an event of 7 concomitant uploads and felt like being a bit clinical. I want to keep the blurb to a minimum and let the deepnest talk Embarking in a avalanche of Deep House uploads. I buy a lot of Deep House tunes, yet upload very few true Deep House sets. Though I believe Deep House is where I find the most consistent Talent and great quality tunes, being a slut for vocals and pretty tunes, I tend to shy away from publishing any Deep House mixes. Willingly or not, I always fall into the trap of including soulful tracks when I try to go deep. Let’s hope that by the time I am done with Deep House Sessions, I will have published something which is true to the genre. Final word, I really tried thoughout the session to showcase great artists I never uploaded before.. For the ones I know and are not featured this time ( thinking of you Petros), please accept my absolute apologies. Superlover Highlights: "Native Riddim" from Coeo, simple tune introducing what deep really is, "I Can Feel It" from Salted Music's Miguel Migs finally hitting the depth I wanted, love the subtle piano. "House Music" from Harley & Muscle is the standout of the set for me. This is Deep House at its very best! Another Migs tunes with "Let the Music Play", which really summarize the attitude one shoud have with deep House.. Just let it roll, make yourself available to the music. With "Moving in You" from Dan Cano, we are without doubt listening to true deep house. This is subtle and perfectly produced. The 2 Karol XVII & MB Valence's jams are a bit challenging but again this is what deep House is as well.. Done, now to the next one. Xtian
