#5 Travellers tales with writer Matt Towner

Atelier Podcast show

Summary: Welcome to another episode of Atelier TV this time with Matthew Towner a Byron Bay based travel writer, adventurer and life lover. Matthew was introduced to me by a mutual friend and I feel very grateful to have a little window into his life story and what lights him up. Matt's story is full of wonderlust, travelling, gem smuggling and a bike accident which he miraculously survived while being overseas. Now the creative bit is where Matthew travelled to Frankfurt book fair and approached all possible publishers to have his outrageous story published and where he got the deal for Abroad, Broke & Busted book distributed internationally. Since the first book was such a big hit Matthew conttinued with his writing and Crazy Sh*t Asia was born, you can check them out on link below. In this fun and lighthearted interview we have talked about: - What Matthew does these days and projects he's working on. - From Australia to USA, Europe and Asia on wild journey of smuggling gems and living for 10 years in a bus. - Matthew's story of becoming an internationally published author and involving others in his Travellers tales from around the world. - Living in Byron Bay and his TV project and podcast celebrating local culture. - The importance of living creatively and using your gifts. I love Matthew's enthusiasm for life and seing thigs with humour because we all should be able to laugh at ourselves more! http://www.matttowner.com/
