Summary: On April 1, 2003, 14 year old Justin Morton murdered his classmate Eric Levack in the woods outside of their high school, immediately putting Canada’s new juvenile sentencing law to the test. This year marks a milestone in Eric’s story. It has been 15 years since Eric’s death. Being that he was just 14 years old when he was murdered, this year marks the year he has been gone longer than he was here.
