Summary: On Theologically Thinking, Fr. Athanasios Haros of the Transfiguration Church in Florence, SC talks to us about “Game Day.” With the beginning of Great Lent, our pre-Lenten preparations are behind us. We have made our plan of action and now we begin the race to Holy Week and Pascha. The Church offers us a few finals words of encouragement and guidance as we take the field for game day. With spiritual events of the prayer, fasting and alms giving in the Eucharist we will endure the race and be crowned victorious by our Lord but it all begins with forgiveness.
