U.S. Digital Service beginning to relieve stress of moving for service members

Summary: Some 400,000 service members move every year and have had to deal with antiquated technology that barely supports their moves. The U.S. Digital Service is beginning to relieve some of the stress that comes with moving. Lauryn Fantano, a project manager and designer, and Elliott Wilkes, a digital services expert, at the USDS are working with the U.S. Transportation Command. They told Federal News Radio Executive Editor Jason Miller on Federal Drive with Tom Temin about their efforts to transform the application that service members use to track and expedite relos.
