Summary: Our identity is rooted in relationship. Our journey to understand our place in the world begins at birth with our parents or caretakers, and as we grow expands to our friendships, coworkers, peers, etc. Only when we surrender our lives to Christ do we begin the process of owning our identity as sons and daughters of the King--beloved heirs, forgiven and free.
