The second of the planned Star Wars Story series of films following Gareth Edwards’ Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, the blockbuster will debut Alden Ehrenreich as the younger version of Han Solo, alongside Donald Glover’s Lando character. It is set for release on May 25th, 2018. Disney has released an extended new spot for Avengers: Infinity War. The film is more than just an Avengers sequel, as it brings together nearly every character in the MCU to confront the most formidable baddie yet: Thanos. Joe and Anthony Russo direct both Infinity War and its untitled sequel Avengers 4, which were shot back-to-back. Director/co-writer/star John Krasinski’s A Quiet Place soared to a whopping $50 million this weekend, serving as the third-highest opening ever for a horror movie, behind only the $123.4 million opening weekend of IT last fall and the $52.5 million opening of Paranormal Activity 3 in 2011. EW released a new image from The Meg, showing off the scope of the megalodon creature. They also spoke with Statham about his prep for the role, which included swimming with some real sharks. National Treasure and The Sorcerer’s Apprentice director Jon Turteltaub takes the helm for the sci-fi action adventure. The Meg arrives in theaters on August 10, 2018. Per Deadline, Paramount has shifted the upcoming Terminator reboot back from a prime summer spot on July 26, 2019 to the prime holiday release the Friday before Thanksgiving. The film will now arrive in theaters on November 22, 2019.
