KeiDo Troy Fernandez: Embracing the Gift of Stillness

Upaya Zen Center's Dharma Podcast show

Summary: Episode Description: In this talk, KeiDo Troy Fernandez invites us to quiet ourselves in the midst of our culture of self improvement and discover the freedom of stillness. In our society’s constant endeavor for perfection, KeiDo asks, “How might we still ourselves?” Drawing from his experiences in the corporate world and working as a psychotherapist, KeiDo offers us tools to bring us back to stillness and remind ourselves of taking a moment to simply stop. In light of the Haiku Master Basho’s poem, “As I stood still on the evening road, the snow fell more insistently,” KeiDo offers us the opportunity to stand on that same road, feeling the snow fall in the stillness of our lives.
To help keep these podcasts freely available, we hope you will consider making a suggested donation of $25 to our Dharma Podcast Fund.
