Summary: Pilot and serving officer in the Fleet Air Arm, Commander Graeme Rowan-Thomson, gives a short history of the Royal Navy’s air wing, before reflecting on the aircraft, helicopters and other technologies that that revolutionised the service in the 1950s and 1960s, before making predictions for the future.
