Summary: <p>Steve Cooper talks with drummer/singer/songwriter Albert Bouchard. Albert is best known for being one of the founding members of the legendary rock band Blue Oyster Cult who he played drums for an occasionally sang songs. In 1981 he left Blue Öyster Cult and began work on the music that would become the Imaginos record. In the late 80s, he performed with The Mamas &amp; The Papas, Peter Noone (Herman's Hermits) and the Spencer Davis Group (Joe Bouchard was also a part of this). He has also played on records for Mike Watt (fIREHOSE, Minutemen) and Ritchie Stotts (Plasmatics) and produced records for amongst others Gumball, Heads Up and David Roter. In the 90s, his main musical project was The Brain Surgeons, with whom he has released several CDs on his own Cellsum Records label. Cellsum has grown to host a number of other artists, including Les Vegas, The X Brothers, David Roter and Helen Wheels. Most recently, he has reunited with his brother Joe and old friend Dennis Dunaway to form Blue Coupe, a power trio that gigs frequently in and around the Northeast US and Canada.</p><br> <p><img src="//coopertalk.podbean.com/mf/web/55p28z/Albert_Bouchard.jpg" alt="Albert_Bouchard.jpg" width="275" height="275"></p>
