Bad news is that it’s set to cause a decrease in performance by up to 30% and will impact both PC’s and Mac’s. What you need to do based on a great article over on the Mashable website.   Intel Teams Up With AMD to Build Radeon Graphics on Core Chips Intel has announced the new GPU “brings together our high-performing Intel Core H-series processor, second generation High Bandwidth Memory (HBM2) and a custom-to-Intel third-party discrete graphics chip from AMD’s Radeon Technologies Group – all in a single processor package.” - https://www.engadget.com/2018/01/07/intel-amd-rx-vega-m/   Roku Set to Rock You In a move to expand it’s base, Roku looks poised to enter the audio game with a new line-up being dubbed as Roku Connect. While it’s not a full fledged automated home assistant looking to take on Alexa, it will focus entirely on entertainment and allow you to control and immerse your home in a terrific audio upgrade!   IGN Editor-in-Chief Fired for ‘Alleged Misconduct’ “IGN initiated an investigation into alleged misconduct involving Steve Butts. As a result of the investigation, the Company has appropriately determined to part ways with Mr. Butts,” Mitch Galbraith, IGN’s executive vice president, told Polygon in a statement.   Spotify's $1.6 Billion Copyright Lawsuit Could Be a Major Milestone in the Music Industry The lawsuit "alleges that Spotify is using Petty's "Free Fallin," the Doors' "Light My Fire," and tens of thousands of other songs without a license and compensation. The plaintiff is seeking a damages award worth at least $1.6 billion plus injunctive relief," according to Billboard.   Is Apple buying Netflix? Citi analysts say that there is a 40% likelihood of Apple acquiring Netflix. Apple will be able to repatriate about $220 billion in cash to the US under the Trump tax cut. The company would need only one-third of that to snap up Netflix.   X-Files Returned Last Wednesday for it’s 11th Season! The truth is still out there and so are Fox Mulder and Dana Scully as they tackle a ten episode season 11.  But it sounds like it could be the last season for Gillian Anderson.  Chris Carter had this to say though “For me, The X-Files is Mulder and Scully,” Carter told Collider in an interview. “I think if it were without Scully, I wouldn’t do it. That’s not my X-Files.”  Want to know which ones to skip? http://skippable.tumblr.com/post/93538543582/the-x-files Robin Hood RebootIn case you hadn’t heard, there is a new remake of the classic Robin Hood story happening right now and it looks to have the potential to be amazing and terrible. It’s reported to be a gritty take in which it feels like Robin Hood meets The Hunger Games, at least in terms of visual style, but it’s got a little star power with the likes of Jamie Foxx and Taron Egerton starring and even producer credit going Leonardo DiCaprio. Time will tell. Weekly Garnish What happens to us while under Anesthesia? A fascinating yet terrifying sounding book about what really happens to us as humans when we go under Anesthesia.
