Summary: Automated cybersecurity attacks using botnets have been a persistent problem for years. Back in May, a Trump administration executive order assigned the Commerce and Homeland Security Departments the new task to come up with a strategy for mitigating the botnet threat. Now the two departments have issued their draft strategy.
