► Culture of Comparison Pt. 1

UPPERROOM DALLAS Podcast show

Summary: Comparison is deadly. In our culture, whether it’s in the workplace, out and about on the streets of Dallas, scrolling through your social media feed, or within your church community, comparison lurks. The invitation to compare and measure ourselves to those around us is one we all face. Yet, saying “YES” to comparison can be deadly and result in a myriad of sins and evil desires. In this teaching, Michael Miller shares about the subtle yet devastating power of comparison. The Lord recently woke Michael up and told him, “Comparison is killing my people.” Since that time, the Lord has revealed to Michael a biblical perspective of comparison, how it impacted the early disciples walking with Jesus, and how we can walk free from its power and see ourselves rightly.
