Summary: It can be easy for us to expect to go the easiest, quickest route to where we want to be, or even where we’re called to be. Sometimes, though, the fastest way isn’t the right way. God will often lead us through the “wilderness” to protect us from battles we’re not ready for, and to prepare us for the battles he wants to take us through.
