Hell fighter: The Battle of Henry Johnson
Summary: Henry Johnson was a private in the U.S. Amy's all black 139th Infantry regiment. Known as the "Harlem Hellfighters", the unit served valiantly during the First World War. On May 14, 1918, Johnson single-handedly fought off an attack by 40 enemy soldiers.
