Summary: n the sixth episode of Perceived Value host Sarah Rachel Brown sits down with the Philadelphia-based writer Sarah Rose Etter. The two women discuss Etter's path to becoming a published author, the joys of being a prison reporter, and how one finds themselves isolated in Iceland writing a novel. Sarah Rose Etter is the author of Tongue Party (Caketrain Press), which was the winner of the 2010 Caketrain Award as judged by Deb Olin Unferth. Her work has appeared or or is forthcoming in Vice, Juked, Hobart, Black Warrior Review, Salt Hill Journal, and more. She is a contributing editor at The Fanzine alongside Blake Butler, and a columnist at Philadelphia Weekly. Her work has been translated into French by Editions Do.
