From the Front Lines: Challenges of Getting to the Truth with Robin Wright -- Joan B. Kroc Institute for Peace and Justice Distinguished Lecture Series

Poetry (Audio) show

Summary: Robin Wright, who has reported from 140 countries, shares her insights as a journalist and policy analyst covering wars, revolutions and uprisings with what the Overseas Press Club has called “exceptional courage and initiative.” She outlines here what she believes it takes to get to the truth and understand the complexities of any conflict. Wright has been recognized for “distinguished reporting and analysis of international affairs” by the American Academy of Diplomacy, and is one of the few journalists who has chosen throughout her career not to be embedded with the U.S. military. Wright is presented by the Joan B. Kroc Institute for Peace and Justice at the University of San Diego. Series: "Joan B.
