Borg mentions that to cancel out a sound - you flip one of the speaker one hundred and eighty degrees out of phase. What does this mean? It’s like if you took the sound wave and flipped it. A sound wave goes up and down, so wherever it was up - it is now down, and vice versa. When you play a sound wave and the flipped sound wave at the same time they cancel each other out.
