From the Executive Director’s Desk: CAI Highlights for May, 2017

Community Matters show

Summary:
Welcome to the May 2017 edition of CampisiCast, our monthly podcast from CAI Chapter Executive Director Tony Campisi. As you may have noticed, I am not Tony Campisi. This is Michael Shaw, CAI’s Manager for Communications and Programs. I’m filling in for Tony this month as he’s off to Las Vegas for CAI’s National Conference & Expo. In this case, whatever happens in Vegas won’t be staying there. I’m happy to report that while at the national conference, Tony will be accepting several awards on the chapter’s behalf. We’ve been recognized with awards in the public affairs category for very large chapters for our advocacy campaign for senate bill 1282, in the membership category for very large chapters for our membership is everywhere / Kevin campaign, two awards for membership achievement for best net retention and best net growth, again in the very large chapter category. Finally, the Pennsylvania Legislative Action Committee is being recognized with an award for legislative action committee of the year. I guess you could say we hit the jackpot even before going to Vegas. The chapter is grateful to be recognized with these awards and owes a special thanks to our members who helped make them possible.
In case you haven’t heard, our biggest event of the year is just days away!
