Summary: Akira Kamada immigrated to Australia in 1987 and now is a sculptor and installation artist based in the South Coast, NSW. Currently, Akira is a part of two group exhibitions in Sydney, Thinkers and Dreamersat Stanley Street Gallery in Darlinghurst and Mining Pyrite at Newington Armory Gallery in Sydney Olympic Park. Akira explains about his works shown at the two exhibitions and tells us why he likes to use organic materials and why he tries to create evanescing works which eventually fade away into nature.
